Likes and Dislikes

I am reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. So far this book gets off to a slow start. I am having a hard time following along and staying into this book because it is very slow. I like how there are different perspectives involved throughout this book. In one chapter you will here what is happening from Nick, the husband, and in another you hear stuff from Amy. The main thing I do not like about this book is that when it is Amy's chapter and she talks about the past. I would like to hear what is happening in the case from her perspective and hear stuff from her. I understand by her doing that it would give away the story but some of the stuff she talks about is irrelevant to the main idea. Although, I feel this way I know that this book will get way more exciting as it moves along and I will not be able to put it down.
