Author's Message
In the book Thirteen Reasons Why the author portrays a very evident message. This book tells the story of a girl who killed herself through the perspective of the tapes she recorded before she died. There are many reasons for Hannah Baker killing herself. All of these reasons happen to be people. She was effected in a bad way by others in her life. They called her bad names and back stabbed her. They even broke her heart. She feels that now they should pay the consequence. They should hear, from her what role they played in her death. Overall the author's message is thinking before you act. You should think about how you treat someone and how it affects their life. Sometimes you may not think you are hurting someone but you may have a deeper effect on them than they display. I see this throughout the book because these people that did these things to Hannah did not think before they acted. Therefore, they made bad choices.
